GAME OF THRONES (Season 3)
by SophieG inok i cannot believe that no one has mentioned this series.
does anyone watch?
did you see sundays masterpiece and have you read the books?
-
Amelia Ashton
I have to watch all series of shows like this back to back because I have a huge memory problem. I cannot remember characters and storylines for more than a day or two.

Do Not Calls is it about control?
by hoser inelders are supposed to call on do not calls once a year to get their ass chewed on by the householder.
why does the borg make them do this?
humiliate them and make them more loyal?.
-
Amelia Ashton
Not been called on for 4 years.
They don't know I am here and don't bother with the area I live in at all.
I would imagine Do Not Calls are often people with more knowledge about jwdom than the average householder and so are prepared to make a stand against them.
The ones who know nothing have a moan but are not pro-active to stop the intrusion.
Would the bOrg want unsuspecting publishers calling on houses where the occupier might know more about watchtower history than the person selling the religion?
Control, always.

Stickers (complete with QR Code) for Laundromats
by nicsfreedom inaccording to one of our friends who visits our local laundromats the literature is out of control.
guess its time to do some real educating aka jw un-witnessing.
throwing the mags away just keeps the dubs bring back more (and counting placements) so with my friend and husbands help we are going to "stick it to the watchtower" literally:).

Could you take a screen shot and then post it here as an image?

good times we had when we were JWs
by smiddy inboth my wife and i were talking about some of the good times we had when we were jw`s ......and we did have good times socialising ,going out for meals ,hotels ,/ wedding functions /,with groups on barbequres /,camping at national parks , and beaches ,/enjoying fellowship at one anothers house on many an occassion ,/video nights / thearter nights with who we thought were good freinds ,our children grew up with their children and vice versa .i was a ms my wife was a people person who liked to entertain at home and many people responded to that.and i would say that apart from the first 5 years of our involvement and discarding the last few years of our leaving their was at least 20 + years of our relationship with our brothers and sisters who we considered our intimate freinds.. once you leave the religion they dont want to know you ,i tried a couple of times with no response.. whatever happened to trying to get you going again ?
(not that we ever would but they dont know that )and no neither of us were disfellowshipped.
i just think it`s a pity that in their veiw freindship is conditional on staying with the organization.

Same here Rip.
Used to hear of gatherings, trips and dinners etc. but never got included.
The worst experience was when there was a "congregational BBQ" except it wasn't. There was about 100 bros and sisters but me and the other single sister I went with and our kids were asked to leave. We had brought food and drink but still couldn't stay.
